There is a young (16 year-old) man who has just been disconnected from life support. He lives in my city. He is dead. I knew him a while ago. One of those people you run into. At first I wasn't affected, but that could have been me. Many, many times. I have been thinking of how amazing it is that I am almost 18 and still alive. A lot of kids I knew told me I would be dead before then. I am alive and thankful. Every day is a borrowed day for me. God bless him and his family.
Sorry to post here but I can't find an e-mail address. Happy birthday. I hope that you have a lovely weekend with your family and all of your friends. I wish you all the best for a wonderful future. (It's my birthday too, all the best people are born at the end of September!!)

That is such a sad story. Yesterday was not a good day to be a kid in Minnesota. A five year old was shot and killed by intruders and in a rural high school one student shot and killed another and injured a second.
Very sad stuff.
